PASSERIFORMES: Campephagidae
Coracina novaehollandiae
An immature Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike is very similar to an adult White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike as seen in this composite (Black-faced on left).
A handy 'tell' however is that the black on the face of the Black-faced will normally extend slightly behind the eye whereas on the White-bellied it finishes at the eye and there will be half a white eye-ring behind the eye.
