Probosciger aterrimus  

During a morning walk along the road behind Chili Beach I saw two Palm Cockatoos fly overhead and drop into the trees a short distance ahead. As I carefully approached and before I could see them, one flew off and I feared both had gone.

Then I saw this one sitting in the open enjoying the morning sun and in no hurry to move on.
