Strepera graculina  

A family of four Pied Currawongs has taken up residence in my backyard and the surrounding properties. I have lived here for 2 years and never seen a single one before.

I take it that my local birds also find this a surprise as I have often seen my resident Magpie Larks, and Willie Wagtails trying to escort them from our home.
